Noxicare - A Natural Pain Reliever

I was excited when Noxicare asked me to review their natural pain relief cream. Our family is always looking for natural products. Then when it actually arrived and I started looking at their website in more detail I was even more excited!

First of all let me tell you that I love that Noxicare is made from homeopathic ingredients! My family has always used homeopathy – my mom started when I was young (thanks to her sister) and now I use it on my family. If you use it correctly, it really does work.

The first thing that I noticed when I opened the tube of cream is that the cream is green and it doesn’t have much of a scent. The VERY light fragrance is refreshing and smells clean and not at all like medicine as with most pain relieving creams we have used. The cream is also not greasy and quickly absorbs into the skin.

Because of the wide range of homeopathic remedies included in Noxicare, it should help relieve pain associated with joints and muscles, inflammation, swelling, musculoskeletal disorders, and nerve pain.

The homeopathic remedies in Noxicare are come from the following: turmeric extract, willow bark extract, ginger extract, holy basil extract, rosemary extract, alpha lipoic acids, and boswellia extract. Here is what each specific active ingredient does:

• Turmeric Extract: one of the powerful healers found in nature, recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties.
• Willow Bark Extract: has been used to treat pain and inflammation since the time of Ancient Egypt and Greece.
• Ginger Extract: helps alleviate muscle strains, arthritis and rheumatism, and is a catalyst for improving the effectiveness of other herbs.
• Holy Basil Extract: properties include anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and antiviral.
• Rosemary Extract: has served a variety of purposes including topical use for joint or musculoskeletal pain.
• Alpha Lipoic Acids: antioxidants used to treating diabetic neuropathy and increasing blood flow to the nerves.
• Boswellia Extract: an anti-inflammatory used to treat arthritis and joint pain.

My husband’s hand has been hurting him for a while (not sure what he did to it but something must have happened at work) and he rubbed it on one night and about thirty minutes later I asked him if it worked and he said his hand didn’t hurt at all!

I have been trying to exercise more lately and my knees are not used to running and have been pretty sore. I used it before bed and when I woke up I noticed that I could walk down the stairs and although I could still tell they weren’t up to par, they didn’t hurt like they had the day before. On the second day I applied the cream again before bed and the next day my knees were back to normal!

Our family doesn’t get a lot of aches and pains, we are pretty healthy people, but Noxicare definitely has a place in our medicine cabinet (which BTW is mostly filled with natural products). I love that I can safely use it on all my family members (although the label says not to use by anyone under the age of 18, I know enough about the ingredients to believe that it is safe for my family to use at any age. However this is my personal opinion and not endorsed by the manufacturer). There should be very little side affects with use and I love that it is not made with a bunch of synthetic pain relievers.
